Ha!Ha!Ha! Thanks Matthew!
Did you decrease the aperture value to get the subject standing out from the background (blurry background)? I've been trying to have something like this, but unfortunately... I can't seem to do the same... :( I'm using Olympus E-510 and I'm a newbie, so please bare with me. He's your son? Pretty boy by the way. :)
Hi Eveyu90 ....... the lens that I was using has a fix aperture of f/1.8. To get a good bokeh (blurry background) you need to "increase" (bigger) the aperture but the "number" f/ decrease. You won't be able to get this bokeh with kit-lens, so you need to buy additional lens with fixed big aperture (or small f number).
