The AF Nikkor 70-300mm (f/4-5.6)G is a small aperture lens, meaning at 70mm, the aperture is f/4 and when you zoom to 300mm, the aperture will become even smaller at f/5.6. So, at small aperture, the lens allow very little light to enter, thus making your shutter speed low ....... and I guess this is what caused your blurry pictures. I only use this lens at bright day light under the hot sun, so that the shutter speed can be faster than 1/300 secs in order to get sharp image without using a tripod. Remember that if your lens is 300mm (Xmm), then your shutter speed must be above 1/X secs. If below than 1/X secs, your image will tend to blur ....... so use a tripod.
hi there...i saw u're having AF Nikkor 70-300mm (f/4-5.6G). Can u give some review on how to use this lens? coz i just bought one through the forum but i found that the pic was blurry especially if it reached 300mm.

I think it's all depends on people. My wife went to malaysia for less than 3 months, already know bahasa, at least can communicate with malaysians. On the other hand, I am really bad at learning language. I guess don't pressure her too much, I think she will be fluent eventually
