Israel & Jordan (Part 4 Of The Israel Pilgrimage)

This is the final set.
After visiting the rest of Israel, we put up the last night in Grand Court Hotel Jerusalem.
The next early morning we crossed the border into Jordan through Allenby Bridge again and visited Mount Nebo and Madeba in Jordan before going to Amman International Airport flying to Dubai ETD 3:00pm for 3 hours plus flight.
The worst thing is we transit in Dubai for nearly 6 hours for our flight back to Singapore ETD Dubai at 1:00am in the morning.
Anyway, thank God for this trip ....... the beauty of that country is just beyond words to describe it.
If have the opportunity, you guys/gals should visit there at least once!

Hope you enjoyed the photos as I do, and as usual the details are all in the slides .......
Have a nice time browsing through them!

Israel (Part 2 Of The Israel Pilgrimage)

Our first destination in Israel was Jericho as it's the nearest spot as we enter from the Allenby Bridge from Jordan.
The immigration check point in Israel is one of the tightest in the whole world.
Wonderful experience as I was one of the few that was called in for "interview".
I didn't mind as the immigration officers there are all beautiful ladies! Ha!Ha!Ha!
Then we travelled up north to Tiberias at the Sea Of Galilee.
Along the way we noticed that Israel is one of the most safe place in the world ....... I think Johor Bahru is worst man ....... Ha!Ha!Ha!

So, as usual, the details are all in each of the photos.
Do click the slide show for more details ....... you'll love it!

After Immigration check, we travelled down south of Jordan to Petra (Amman is somewhere north of Jordan). The bus journey about 3 hours.
Reached Petra in the evening and it's completely in darkness already as the sun set at 4:30pm everyday.
Checked in into Crowne Plaza Resort Petra.

I've keyed in the details of the visit in every photos, so it's good if you guys/gals can see the slide show for more details ....... don't miss it yeah? Ha!Ha!Ha!

Paris France

This was the peak of our Europe Tour!
Flew in from Dusseldorf Airport Germany and reached Paris around afternoon.
Had a brief city tour from the bus on the way to the Hotel Concorde St. Lazare.

In the evening, we went to Moulin Rouge, a professional cabaret dance performance in Paris Red Light Area.
The dancers are all "topless" but done in a very professional way.
We had dinner inside Moulin Rouge and our tickets cost about near EURO 200 each!
The good thing was, all fully paid! Ha!Ha!Ha!
No walk-ins as very long queue to enter and entrance only by bookings/reservations at www.moulinrogue.fr (a short dance of the topless ladies can be viewed in this website too).
The dinner plus show lasted about 3 hours ....... but too bad, no cameras nor video allowed in!

After the show, a few of us walked to the Sacred Heart Church up the hill to have some night shots at about midnight, and only reached back the hotel at 2:00am.

The following day we had city tour again on the way to...

We climbed up the narrow winding stairs up to the peak where the bell is located.
Just look at the photos below to give you an impression how high this Cologne Cathedral

The Hotel where we stayed is called Welcome Hotel and located along the famous Rhine River.

Amsterdam

Got this great opportunity to go Europe for company training from the 4th-12th August 2007.
Our first stop was Amsterdam, then Germany (Wesel, Cologne & Bocholt) and finally Paris France!

Arrived Amsterdam early Sunday morning of 5th August 2007.
The weather was great, sunny but cooling!
Then we were brought to the Canal to have a Boat Ride, with breakfast on board, served by 2 beautiful waitresses!
Must admit that Amsterdam is rich for its Canals and Bridges.
Later we visited the RIJKS Museum on paintings, followed by the Diamond Factory (both not my cup of tea though ....... Ha!Ha!Ha!).
After lunch, we headed for Wesel Germany where our training was held

Shanghai China

This Company Trip to China was during the November 2005 winter.
Went to Wuxi (the biggest standing Buddha Statue), Suzhou (the Leaning Pagoda and the Eastern Venice), Shanghai, Huang Shan (Yellow Mountain, where I experienced snow for the first time), Chang Zhou and Xuan Cheng.

Went there with my fellow colleagues Low, Theresa and Yvonne.

BTW, the photos were taken by my colleague using PnS camera, Canon IXUS 500.
Didn't bring my camera as I was thinking, "What's so great and nice about China?" ....... Ha!Ha!Ha!
But this trip really opened up my mind and I really regretted for not bringing my camera.

But anyhow, the public toilets in China really SUCKS! Even at tourists attraction places
